Join us for the 2025 Garden Town Plant Swap & Market!

Taking place in the heart of Stellenbosch – join us for a day filled with good spirits as we shop, swap and be festive surrounded by everything green and planty!

DATE:    Saturday 1 November 2025

PLACE: Stellenbosch Town Hall

TIME:    Market – 10am-3pm

               Swap – 11am-12pm – be there early to check in, unpack and hand in your SS gift!

COST:     Market – FREE to all.

               Swap – R30

Your R30 ticket includes:

·        Participation in the 2025 Cape Town Plant Swap

·        A free goodie bag – loaded with fun planty items.

·        Participation in the Secret Santa swap – participation is optional, but remember, if you don’t bring a gift – you don’t get a gift.

·        Participation in the Flower Crown Competition.

Some things to remember:

·        Be kind and courteous – embrace the spirit of the event.

·        Secret Santa gifts capped at R200.

·        The price/quality of the gift you give does not guarentee the value/quality of the gift you receive – be lekker and embrace the gift of giving.

·        No swapping of Secret Santa gifts.

·        Flower crowns are encouraged to be worn for the whole event – the judges will be choosing their favourite throughout the event. Winner will be announced after the swap.

·        Absolutely no swapping or selling of invasive plants will be tolerated.

·        Please no plant sales – this is a swap and our vendors have worked hard. Rather support them.

·        There will be an “Adoption table” at the swap, for any plants that need new homes – please no sick or infested plants! Any leftover plants will be donated.

·        Access to the plant market is absolutely free to everyone!! So bring your friends.
